Arethusa Climbing

A climber nearing the top of a vertical climbing wallWith the aid of Kent Outdoor Pursuits Disability Project Officers and volunteers, a climbing group operates at Arethusa Venture Centre in Upnor.

The group meets at Arethusa approximately every two weeks on a Monday evening for a one and a half hour session of climbing varying degrees of outdoor and sometimes indoor walls.

New dates for 2010 Arethusa Disability Climbing Club - 9 August and 16th August.

  • Time 5.00pm - 6.30pm
  • Cost £5.00 per person

The group offers a safe, professional and social environment for people of all abilities to come along and enjoy whether you're a complete novice or an experienced climber.

Calvert Trust

For those who would like to try canoeing, kayaking, sailing, rock climbing, abseiling, horse riding, carriage driving and zipwire no matter what your ability.

All activities and accommodation are accessible so you can really have fun together with your family and friends.

There's a 90% subsidy for all individuals and 50% for groups, prices include all activities, accessible accommodation and food.
