Michael Cogswell - Paralympic Sailing

Michael Cogswell, from Pluckley, near Ashford has just returned from his first World Championship's.

Michael represented GB along with a fellow GB team mate, in the Skud 18 class, a new category in Paralympic Sailing.

The field was relatively small for this introductory class, but it is hoped that by London 2012 many more countries around the World will enter crews into this section of the Paralympic Sailing event.

Michael aims to be selected and will now be training and working hard to gain the necessary sponsorship and support to enable him to compete at the 2012 Paralympic Games
