Disability
Archery is open to people with a broad range of disability, including those with even severe visual impairment. While many clubs are happy to accept and help disabled archers, some are limited by the nature of the facilities available to them and may have issues with accommodating certain disabilities.
There are, however, a number of clubs in the county that actively specialise in disability archery and the county secretary can assist with identifying such a club in your locality. Based in Westerham is the Centre of Excellence for Disability Archery in Kent (CEDAK) and a further similar centre is in the early stages of planning for the east of the county. Contact the County Secretary (County Secretary contact details) or Kent Sports Development Manager for Disabled People.
