Outline of NGB's Club accreditation scheme
The Athletics Clubmark Accreditation requires clubs to meet specific criteria set for athletics in the 4 Clubmark categories to show they are a safe, effective and child friendly club. The 4 key areas of Clubmark are:Club Management, Duty of Care and Welfare, Sports Equity and Ethics and The Coaching and Competition Programme.
Benefits to club achieving Clubmark are: Increasing Membership Levels, Club Development, Developing of Club coaches, official and volunteers, raise profile, Grant Aid, Bursaries for coaches, Power of 10 rewards and Entry into Club of the year.
