Cycling coaching courses
Coaching is at the heart of cycling performance at every level from teaching basic bike handling skills in a school or club through to training athletes for the Olympic Games or Tour de France.
The British Cycling Coach Education Programme has been produced in conjunction with Sports Coach UK to improve the quality and consistency of cycling coaching at all levels and in all disciplines throughout the UK. The course content has been developed in line with the UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC). The programme currently consists of three levels of award, catering for basic skills for groups through to performance training for individual riders.

British Cycling is now delivering courses in the following disciplines.
