Disability Cycling
What's it all about?
Cycling is one of the best forms of exercise and is certainly one of the most enjoyable ways of getting fit. The Kent Outdoor Pursuits Disability Project has aided and started many projects throughout Kent enabling everybody with any ability to participate in this popular and varied sport.
Hand Cycling is an established sport that is increasing in popularity and becoming more accessible with events happening regularly all over the UK.
Taking Part
There are over 30 cycling clubs in Kent ranging from Go-Ride School Clubs coaching at grass roots level both during and after school, through to commercial racing teams. There are also Cycling specific facilities in Kent all offering casual riding opportunities or organised activity through clubs associated with them.
