Kent School Games 2012 - Disability Events

In 2012 Kent School Games will be run again with an expansion of the Disability Events in the programme.

The programme will be spread over several months from February through to June 2012.  Disabled pupils will get opportunities to compete alongside their non-disabled peers in a number of sports

 

Danny Crates, 800m Paralympian21st February - Indoor Rowing competition will see disabled and non-disabled competitors side by side at Julie Rose Stadium indoor sports hall

 

1st and 2nd May - Boccia tournament will include separate competitions for pupils with physical impairments, learning disabilities and non-disabled players at Maidstone YMCA

 

Young people playing Table Cricket

29th May - Cycling will involve disabled and non-disabled cyclists at Cyclopark, near Gravesend

 

 

13th June is the main multi-sport day at Sevenoaks School which will  include Swimming, New Age Kurling, Sitting Volleyball, Table Cricket and demonstrations of Powerlifting, Wheelchair Fencing and Boxing

21st June - Athletics at Canterbury High School
