A Sports Leaders UK Tutor Training event has been organised for July 9th 2010

The tutor training day will be hosted at The Stour Centre in Ashford, attendees will learn how to deliver both the Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership and the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership. As well as community based staff attending some spaces will also be available for academic staff.

The cost to attend is £110.00 per person which includes lunch and tea/coffee on arrival. Anyone interested in attending can contact Stuart Butler - Leadership and Coaching Development Officer or book via the Kent Sport website selecting ‘Sport Leaders UK Tutor Training’ from the drop down menu and clicking ‘go’.

Following the training post-course support and advice will be offered by Stuart Butler who continues to welcome community groups to attach themselves to his outreach centre in order to assist with the running of their courses. Current active courses include a Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership being run by Kent Youth Service at Thamesview School in Gravesend and a Level 1 Award in Dance Leadership being run at Vestry Hall in Marden.
