• Change4Life campaign

Change4Life is a society-wide movement that aims to prevent people from becoming overweight by encouraging them to eat better and move more. With support from grass root organisations to leading supermarkets and charities, the campaign aims to educate the nation on causes of obesity from healthy eating to exercise and lifestyle choices, and the health effects such as cancer, heart disease and diabetes.

The Change4Life advertising campaign began in January 2009 and in the initial stage targeted young families with children aged 5-11 years. Since its launch the movement has grown to targeting parents of 1-4 years olds (Early Years) and new parents with babies (Start4Life). The next phase will be targeting adults aged 45-64 years.
