AccessibilityKent Sports Development is fully committed to ensuring its website is accessible and inclusive for all its users. Web accessibility focuses on ensuring all users, regardless of their physical and mental capability, are able to access the content and services on a particular website. Our aim has been to make Kentsport.org/london2012 accessible to all who may be interested in finding out more about our campign. Its design and build has taken into account the following guidelines: * The WC3 Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) www.w3.org
* Using an easy to read font type. JavascriptThe forms on our website do use JavaScript. They have been designed to be as practical as possible for the majority of users. However, JavaScript does present accessibility problems to some users so we have ensured that there is a link to info@kentsport.org at the top of this two pages. This allows the user to contact Kent's Campaign for the 2012 Games directly. MultimediaWe host a number of different video clips on the site both to give people a wider view of our bid and to make our content more accessible to people who find it easier to view rather than read content. BrowseAloudOur website offers a link to BrowseAloud. This is a free tool that speech enables website content. It offers a practical website access service to people with reading difficulties and those who find it easier to listen to, rather than read the content of our website. It assists in the navigations of our website for the following sections of the population: * Those with low literacy and reading skills
