Probable Beijing Paralympic Games competitor grows his sport in Kent
Nathan Milgate, a GB Paralympic Squad Member and a British Shooting Champion, has been signed up by the County Council to be a Disability Sport Associate Officer for Shooting. The role involves working with partners from across the county on a part time basis to promote the sport, maximise the opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in the sport, and to, hopefully, identify talented paralympians of the future from our county.
Nathan has been a valuable colleague of the Kent Campaign for the 2012 Games since its inception, and recently took part in both the Official Launch of the Kent Strategy for the 2012 Games (pdf) , and the Kent Campaign's marquee at this year's Kent Show, where we were visited by the London 2012 Roadshow. We are delighted that Nathan has been appointed to this new role.
