Jemima Yeats-Brown – Judo

Jemima Yeats Brown in actionJemima is ranked World No. 3 (Cadet) and No. 1 in England in the under 17 age group and is a black belt.

She has recently represented GB at the U17 Cadet European Championships and has won her category in numerous competitions including the Alicante Open and the Heart of England. Jemima’s future aims include representing GB at the Olympics.

  • 2011: Achieved bronze at the Cadet World Championships in Ukraine
  • 2011: Achieved 5th place at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Turkey and selected as GB flag bearer for the Opening Ceremony
  • 2011: European Cadet Champion (Under 63kgs)
  • 2011: Courier Media Group Young Sports Personality of the Year Award winner
  • 2010: British Champion (Cadet Girls Under 57kg)
  • 2010: Represented GB in U17 Cadet European Championships
  • 2010: Won her category in the following competitions: Alicante Open, Welsh Open, Heart of England, Kent International & North West
