Kelsie Gibson – Rowing

Kelsie GibsonKelsie is a member of Maidstone Invicta Rowing Club. Having only been involved in Rowing for 12 months she was selected to represent GB at the Varese International Regatta in Italy. On her GB debut she achieved two gold medals in the adaptive LTA Coxed Four. Kelsie also achieved a silver medal at the 2010 World Rowing Championships.  Her future focus is on selection to represent GB at the Paralympics in 2012.

  • 2011: Became a full time athlete meaning Kelsie can train as much as the rest of her crew/competition
  • 2011: Represented GB in the B Crew LTA mixed coxed four achieving a bronze Medal at the Rowing World Cup in Munich
  • 2010: Achieved a silver medal with the British mixed adaptive coxed four at the World Rowing Championships in New Zealand
  • 2010: Represented GB in the LTA Coxed Four at the World Cup Regatta in Slovenia, achieved gold medal
  • 2010: Represented GB in the adaptive LTA Coxed Four, achieved 2 gold medals
  • 2010: Attended GB training camp in Italy
