Kent's Big Day Out

The Kent Big Day Out 2009 was held on Saturday 28 March 2009 and organised by Visit Kent.  This is the third year the event has been held in the run-up to the 2012 London Games as part of a campaign celebrating Kent and Medway’s wide variety of visitor attractions and destinations.

The Big Day Out celebrated what it is that makes Kent unique by offering thousands of FREE tickets to a wide range of places to local residents so that they could experience at first hand all that their county has to offer them, their friends and family.  To see how the day went follow this link.

17,000 tickets for 140 venues around the county were downloaded for the weekend!
