Got a Golden idea? Pitch it to the Dragons Den…
Calling all creative young people in Kent!
Reaching for Gold is a new competition inviting 14-19 year olds across Kent and the South East to put forward ideas that can make a practical difference to society in one of three themes - Youth, Community and Disability.
The project aims to encourage your innovation and creativity, developing the skills you will need to work in the new economies of the future. You could be mentored by and developing your ideas alongside major corporate partners including BT, Honda or Sony!
The culmination of the competition will be held at Windsor Castle in December, where youngsters will have to prepare a pitch and present at a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style finale. You may even see your entry alongside ASIMO, Honda’s famous Humanoid Robot!
The competition winner will receive the Reaching for Gold trophy and £5,000 towards the development of their winning project.
The deadline for applications is now 5pm on 2nd October 2009. For details on how to enter the competition or to submit an entry, please visit www.reachingforgold.org.uk
