However, as already noted in this newsletter, the publication of the National Volunteering Strategy has now been delayed until 2010, when the actual recruitment programme will be rolled out. A London 2012 Pre Volunteering Programme ‘Personal Best’ was launched by the Learning and Skills Council in London at the end of October with LOCOG approval, with the next phase being a regional role out from April 2008 onwards. The aim is to use a franchise model in the regions, and as soon as we get more details, we will place these on our website www.kentsport.org/london2012.
