Thames Gateway Legacy Action Plan for the 2012 Games
Partners across Thames Gateway Kent, with input from regional partners, have been inputting to a pan-Thames Gateway Action Plan. This pan-Gateway plan will acknowledge that all three sub regions of Kent, Essex and London , working with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) Nations and Regions framework, have been making significant progress individually against maximising the opportunities and benefits created by the Games.
What this Action Plan seeks to do, however, is through the focus and leadership of the Thames Gateway Strategic Partnership, seek additionally to some of the projects identified within the sub regional 2012 plans and/or identify projects that can be further magnified, catalysed or simply delivered with greater impact across the Gateway, through a pan Gateway approach. The Action Plan is very much still draft, but for further details please contact stephanie.holt@kent.gov.uk
