Kent Sport Coaching is underpinned by the Kent Coaching Network and supported nationally by the England Coaching Network. The Kent Network includes representation from all sectors involved in coaching.

Current members of the Kent Coaching Network include: representatives from Kent Sport Development Officers, Coaching Lead for School Sport, Higher and further Education, NGBs and the County Sports Partnership.

The group work together to steer the development of coaching in order to create a cohesive and sustainable system that ensures we have the right coaches in the right place at the right time delivering high quality coaching to the wide range of sporting participants across Kent.

Using the UK Coaching Framework and County Sports Partnership Core offer for reference, Kent Sport produces a coaching plan to direct the development of coaching in the county. Coordinated by the Coaching Network Officer the actions require all partners to commit to collaborative working in order to achieve success.
