England Hockey Vacancy: Regional Manager South

Hockey England Hockey (EH) is the National Governing Body for the sport of Hockey. EH has income and expenditure of circa £6.m p.a. It is responsible for the development of the sport from grass roots to elite activities.

England Hockey is looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and exceptional people manager who can quickly establish credibility and strong relationships across a wide and complex network of stakeholders both internally in the sport and externally.

The Regional Manager will lead a team of 5 staff responsible for delivering the strategic priorities within the Hockey Strategy Uniting the Hockey Family II 2009-2013. The Regional Network operates across 5 England Hockey Regions each with a Regional Manger, Administrator and 2/3 Local Development Officers. The Regional Network is delivery focused and works closely with the Regional and County Hockey Associations to translate strategic priorities into clear and measurable outcomes.

Salary £25 – 32k (dependent on experience) plus company vehicle.

Location: South England Hockey Office at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. However, extensive travel within the region will be required together with some national travel.
