FREE Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership
Kent Youth is running FREE Level 2 Awards in Community Sports Leadership courses in the following locations: MAIDSTONE, SHEPWAY and DARTFORD.
These courses are open to anyone aged 16-25 and are being funded via 'v' that national volunteering charity. A deposit of £25 is required but this is refunded on completion of the course. Financial assistance is available towards travel costs.
The level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. As a trainee leader you will be expected to demonstrate your leadership skills by delivering 30 hours of sport and activity sessions in a youth group, club or other suitable organisation.
All courses start week commencing 20 September 2010 at the following locations:
Aylesford Sports College – Mondays 3pm - 6pm at the school (running for 11 weeks excluding half term)
Romney Marsh Academy – Tuesdays 1pm - 4pm at the Academy (running for 11 weeks excluding half term)
The Leigh Technology Academy – Thursdays 5pm - 7.30pm at the Academy (running for 11 weeks excluding half term).
