Games 4 Life

After a most successful Olympic Games in London The Health Club, a fun, virtual club free to everyone in Kent, launched a summer healthy living campaign with Change4Life giving out millions of Games4Life 'activity check' questionnaires. Each individual that responded (even if there was more than one in each household) received their own personalised activity plan, specific for adults or children, to help them get moving more and make the changes they need for a healthier, happier future.
Now that summer is over you can still complete the questionnaire for your first step to a healthy life.
Children aged five to 18 should have 60 active minutes a day and adults should have 150 active minutes a week (younger children aged two to five are recommended to get 180 minutes a day).
The Healthy Club which offers support and encouragement to members to live healthier lives has over 17,300 members who have logged over 13.5 million healthy 'steps' online, that's enough to have passed Singapore! Every little 'step' is encouraged and celebrated by the Club from housework to gardening, from walking to running and eating 5-a-day. The main aim of the Club is to encourage everyone to move more, eat well and enjoy a healthier lifestyle, and to promote the vast amount of support and offers that are available locally.
