Nottinghamshire, hosted by Nottingham Trent University, is seeking
an experienced professional with a track record in partnership working.
With lead responsibility for the development and implementation of
a Physical Activity Strategy across Nottinghamshire and the City of
Nottingham, you will strengthen the infrastructure for the delivery
of physical activity and where necessary securing funding to assist
this.
Additionally, you will coordinate the Nottinghamshire 2012 steering
group in order to maximise the benefits of the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic
Games across Nottinghamshire.
Working closely with partner organisations and influencing people
from a wide range of backgrounds, you will be capable of planning
and organising you own workload. With excellent communication and
negotiating skills, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent
and have significant experience in a partnership building role. Knowledge
of the sports sector is also essential.
