Supporting Kent's talented performers

Talented performersFollowing nomination by their national governing body of sport 25 talented performers, who have the most potential to achieve at the highest level, have been selected to receive support from Kent County Council which includes:

  • Grant aid to individuals
  • Support workshops delivered in partnership with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust and the three universities in Kent.

The sportsmen and women have been selected across a range of sports, and include disabled and non disabled performers. The ambitions of all of the performers include selection for GB at future Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Please find below a list of the performers which also includes their sport. Some of the performers already have their profiles featured on our Rising Stars webpage; the plan is to get the remainder on the site very soon.
