'Kids of Steel' Triathlon event
Triathlon England has confirmed the exciting 'Kids of Steel' Triathlon event, being held on 25th May 2010 at Maidstone Leisure Centre, Maidstone.
The event is aimed at encouraging young people to get involved in Triathlon or its disciplines and promote the benefits of staying active and leading a healthy life. The main event will be a Triathlon (bikes will be provided) and aims to attract 600 children aged 9-13 years.

Distances for the event are very achievable by all (approximate):
Swim – 60 m
Bike – 1.1k
Run – 650 m
Triathlon is the UK’s largest growing sport and Kent is a key area for developing the sport and this is a great opportunity to increase the awareness of Triathlon. This event offers an opportunity to provide children a new access into the world of sport through the challenging and rewarding sport of Triathlon.
