Nominate Your Project
The National Lottery Awards 2011
This is your chance to tell your story. No matter how small or large your project is, you could be a winner. People across the UK are being called on to nominate their favourite Lottery-funded project for recognition in The National Lottery Awards 2011. The Awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects.
Now in their eighth year, the Awards recognise the incredible difference that Lottery-funded projects make to people, places and communities across the UK. They also celebrate the talent, hard work and amazing dedication of the people involved in running them.
There are seven categories reflecting the main areas of Lottery funding:
- Best Sport Project
- Best Arts Project
- Best Education Project
- Best Environment Project
- Best Health Project
- Best Heritage Project
- Best Voluntary/Charity Project
Last year, the Sport England-funded Children’s Able and Disabled Sport (CADS) project from Cheshire and Greater Manchester won the Best Sport award. The Seashell Trust picked up the award for bringing young people of all abilities together to play sport.
