Vote for your favourite outdoor recreational space

How to protect outdoor recreational spaces?

2012 is an exciting year with two great events coming up – Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Games. The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge, headed by its Patron Prince William, is a fantastic programme to protect 2012 outdoor recreational spaces in communities all across the country as a permanent living legacy of these landmark occasions.

Young people enjoying the use of playing fields Communities are at the very heart of this programme and later this year they will be asking the public to vote for their favourite outdoor recreational space to be protected and become a Queen Elizabeth II Field.
