Quest Seekers - The Summer Reading Challenge in Libraries
 Do you find it hard getting your children to read over the summer holidays? Do they always want to play on their computer games instead? Well worry no more, this year we have the answer!
Kent Libraries have now launched this year’s summer reading challenge under the theme of ‘Quest Seekers’. 5-11 year olds are being encouraged to read 6 books over the holidays in return for stickers to add to the posters they will receive, along with other exciting collectables. Join Louis, Raj, Flic the Feisty Fairy and the rest of the gang (to the left) for the most exciting, adventure filled summer holiday.
Along with this, Kent Sport Leisure and Olympics’ have been working with a number of sport organisations and companies that provide children with exciting activities across Kent, to provide children taking part in this challenge the chance to participate in an adventure of their own.
A number of lucky children will win prizes and turn their fantasy into reality ranging from the chance for a prince or princesses returning to Leeds castle, cowboys and cowgirls horse riding from the sandy stable’s at Callum Park and the most daring adventure seekers crossing the English Channel to seek treasure in the far away land of France.
