Weald duo win three silver medals and one bronze medal at UK School Games

Helshan Weerasinghe15 year old Yolanda King and 16 year old Lewis Gray, both members of the Angley School, Cranbrook based Weald TT Club, lifted four medals between them at the UK Schools' Games played at Sunderland Silkworth Community Pool, Tennis and Wellness Centre from 2-5 September. Yolanda picked up two silver medals for the girls’ team event and the singles, whilst Lewis gained a team event bronze and a singles silver.

Lewis had to face his SE team mate, Helshan Weerasinghe, on the way to the final.

Teams included South East England, North West England, East Midlands, South West England, North East England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
