Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

WalkersEnthusiastic individuals or teams of six people or more are needed to dig out their walking boots and get walking for Heart Research UK’s 15th Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a well-established long distance route which attracts walkers from right across the UK. It involves a walk of around 25 miles over three of the highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, involving a total ascent of over 1,500 metres. It is not a race but the official challenge is to complete the walk in less than 12 hours.

Unlike many fundraising events, there is no entry fee and no minimum sponsorship all they ask is that you raise as much as possible and have an enjoyable day.
