Adults Other Than Teachers (AOTTS)/ Adults supporting Learning (ASL)
Who are AOTTS/ASL's?
AOTTs/ASLs are those people that do not hold a recognised teaching qualification (although they may hold other relevant qualifications) but with the permission of the Head Teacher, are involved in assisting the delivery of PE and School Sport in a variety of ways.
They may be coaches, sports development officers or other volunteers who assist in delivering physical education and out-of-school-hours activities. All AOTTs should work under the supervision of a teacher and should never be left on their own with a group.
