Wrenwa Judo Club achieves Clubmark

Wrenwa Judo Club receiving Clubmark statusWrenwa Judo Club has become the fourth Judo club in the Medway area to achieve Clubmark – the national mark of excellence for youth sports provision.

Clubmark is Sport England’s accreditation for excellence in sports provision for young people. Successful clubs must demonstrate good management and a commitment to equality, diversity and safeguarding children, as well as delivering an excellent playing programme.

Medway Council's Sports Development Officer, Sarah Dand, said: “Clubmark is an excellent way for clubs to demonstrate quality, but also means parents can feel confident that their children are safe playing sport. We are delighted that Wrenwa has joined the list of Clubmark Judo clubs in Medway and congratulate everyone involved on their success.”
